iTWire – Mobile Core Networking and Multi-Access Edge Computing Market Revenue Decline in Q3 2022: Dell’Oro Group

According to market research firm Dell’Oro Group, revenue growth in the Mobile Core Networking and Multi-Access Edge Computing market declined again year-over-year in Q3 2022, recording two consecutive quarters with negative year-over-year growth.

Since last quarter, as nine new mobile network operators launched standalone 5G networks, that hasn’t been enough to offset the decline in major 4G mobile networks and major IMS markets, Dell’Oro Group said.

“The China region posted a positive year-over-year growth rate for the quarter, but this was not enough to offset the decline in the rest of the market, with the global market declining year-on-year. the other,” Dell’Oro commented. Dave Bolan Group Research Director.

“Even with nine new MNOs launching 5G SA eMBB networks since last quarter, it was not enough to propel the MCN market into positive growth. Many of these newly launched 5G SA networks were not up to nationwide, which limits growth. Additionally, the drop in the 4G MCN and IMS Core market was more than expected,” Bolan added.

The hybrid cloud promises to bring together the best of both worlds, allowing businesses to combine the scalability and cost-effectiveness of the cloud with the performance and control you can get from your on-premises infrastructure.

Reducing WAN latency is one of the biggest hybrid cloud performance issues. Leveraging data compression and deduplication can reduce your network latency.

Markets and Markets research firm predicted that the size of the hybrid cloud market is expected to grow from US$38.27 billion in 2017 to US$97.64 billion by 2023.

Colocation facilities offer many benefits of having your servers in the cloud while maintaining physical control of your systems.

The cloud adjacency provided by colocation facilities can allow you to take advantage of their high-bandwidth, low-latency connections to the cloud, as well as provide a solid connection to your on-premises corporate network.
